Carinthian Lake Loop – one of the legendary cycle tours in Europe (according to Lo

The Kärntner Seenschleife has made it into the legendary cycle tours at Conley Planet. The more than 400-kilometer-long cycle tour leads in stages along the 20 most beautiful lakes in Carinthia, of course also at our campsite Anderwald am Faaker See.
It feels like you cycle 50 percent of the way along the water on this tour. Either at numerous well-known Carinthian lakes or on the banks of the Gail or Drau rivers with many bathing opportunities. Lots of sunshine, a mild climate, the long season, Europe’s warmest bathing lakes and the tasty Carinthian cuisine all contribute to its popularity.
We actually always have space for cyclists – from 2025 there will also be a separate area for cyclists in the beach area, i.e. directly on the lake.
